Privacy Policy

outsubscribe.lol collects as little as it can get away with. There are no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics. This page describes exactly what is stored.

What we collect

Your email address, when you place a bid. Used only to send you a receipt and to contact you about that listing. It is never displayed publicly and never sold.
The account you submit — for YouTube, its channel ID, name, handle, avatar, subscriber and view counts, latest video title and description, from the official YouTube Data API. For X, the handle, display name, bio and avatar from the public metadata the profile page publishes for link previews. All of it is public information; we hold no follower counts for X.
Payment records — the amount, time, and the payment processor's reference for the transaction. Card numbers never reach our servers; we cannot see them. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment provider.
An anonymous visitor id, stored in a cookie. It is a random string with a first-seen and last-seen timestamp, used to power the “online now” and “visitors since launch” counters. It contains nothing that identifies you and is not linked to your email or any bid.
Click counts — when someone clicks through to a channel we increment a number on that listing. We do not record who clicked.

What we do not collect

No passwords — there are no accounts.
No card or bank details.
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
No third-party analytics.
No access to your YouTube account.

Cookies

One cookie, cb_visitor. It holds a random identifier, is set for one year, and exists so returning visitors are not counted twice. It is HTTP-only and is not used for advertising. Blocking it does not affect anything except the accuracy of the visitor counters.

Who we share with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share the minimum necessary with the services that run the site:

Hosting (Vercel) — serves the site and processes requests.
Database (Supabase) — stores listings, bids and counters.
Payment processor — receives your email and the amount in order to take payment and act as merchant of record.
Email delivery (Resend) — receives your email address and receipt contents in order to deliver it.
YouTube Data API (Google) — receives the channel identifier you submit in order to return its public data.

We may also disclose information where legally required, or to investigate fraud or abuse of the Service.

Public information

Listings are public by design: the channel, its rank, the total paid, and its click count are visible to everyone. The bidder's email address is never shown. Note that anyone may bid on any channel, so a listing does not imply the channel owner submitted it.

How long we keep it

Listings and their totals are kept indefinitely — the all-time board is permanent by design.
Bid records, including your email, are kept as long as needed for receipts, accounting and tax obligations.
Visitor rows are anonymous and retained for the counters.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@outsubscribe.lol and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We honour those requests regardless of where you are. Note that we may need to keep transaction records to meet legal and tax obligations even after a deletion request, and that removing a listing does not refund whoever paid for it.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. Channels YouTube marks as made for kids are rejected automatically, and every submission requires confirming the channel is not run by a minor. If you believe we hold data about a child, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our hosting and database providers under their security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but the most sensitive data — payment details — is never in our hands to begin with.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above will change.
